The Scottish town of St Andrews lies in the on the North coast of Fife and is easily accessed from the main airports, railways and motorways.

By car from Edinburgh:
Take the A90 out of Edinburgh and head towards the Forth Road Bridge. Once over the Bridge continue up the M90 to Junction 8 which is signposted for St Andrews. Follow the A91 to Cupar and St Andrews.
By car from Glasgow:
If you are coming from Glasgow, follow the M8 and then follow the signs for the Forth Road Bridge.
By car from Aberdeen:
Leave Aberdeen on A90 south to Dundee. At Dundee follow the signs for A92 Tay Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on A92 until sign posted A914 / A919 to St Andrews. Continue on through Leuchars and Guardbridge following the signs for St Andrews.

By bus:
Bus services operate from all areas of Scotland with links to St Andrews.

By train:
The closest railway station is Leuchars on the east coast main line with connections throughout Britain and a night sleeper service to London. The station is 4 miles from St Andrews from which there is an excellent taxi service and frequent local bus services.

By ferry:
A daily ferry service operates between Zeebrugge and Rosyth wich is the closest ferry terminal with links to continental Europe. Rosyth is about 40 miles from St Andrews and is close to the M90 motorway. It is easiest to travel on to St Andrews by car o by taxi.

By air:
The closest large commercial airport is Edinburgh (about one hours's drive away), though some service arrive at Dundee (10 miles) and some private planes use Leuchars (RAF - 4 miles). Glasgow airport has direct flights to United States and Canada and is about one and a half hours drive away. Further south is Prestwick Airport.
